Emily Ryo, Immigration Scholar, Awarded Carnegie Fellowship

Emily Ryo, a professor at the USC Gould School of Law, has been awarded a 2017 Andrew Carnegie Fellowship. Ryo, an expert  in the field of immigration and criminal law, was selected for her innovative and cutting-edge research on unauthorized migration, the legal attitudes of noncitizens, and immigration detention.
