Hurricane Harvey

We are all aware of the devastating flooding caused by Hurricane Harvey in Texas, Louisiana and along the Gulf Coast.  The images coming from the area are startling and the work done by the first responders and others in the region is truly admirable. Our hearts go out to all who have been impacted.

For those members of the Trojan Family who have been affected, we want you to know that we are here to support you during this difficult time and in the months to come as recovery efforts get underway.  If you and/or your family have been a victim of the hurricane, please inform the University/Student Support and Advocacy staff team – Michele Morgan, Rachel Goold, Ashley Ramos, Scott Bradley or Lynette Merriman at (213) 821-4710.

If you are, or someone you know is, in need of support, please do not hesitate to contact Beth Kebschull, Andy Iskandar, Olivia Wills, Sarah Schreiber or Paul Zawacki in Student Counseling Services – they can be reached at (213) 740-7711.  For faculty and staff support, please contact the Center for Work & Family Life at (213) 821-0800.

Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who is suffering from this tragedy and our own students, faculty, staff, their families, and alumni.  Members of the USC community who want to help are encouraged to select the disaster relief agency of your choice.
