Provost Andrew T. Guzman
Dr. Andrew T. Guzman was appointed USC’s provost and senior vice president for academic affairs, effective July 1, 2023. He holds the Shelly and Ofer Nemirovsky Provost’s Chair and is a Law and Political Science Professor.
As the university’s second-ranking administrator, he oversees 18 of the university’s professional schools and academic units, in addition to USC Museums, and the divisions of student affairs, libraries, student religious and spiritual life, and enrollment services.
Guzman earned his J.D. and Ph.D. in Economics from Harvard University, where he was the Books & Commentaries Editor for the Harvard Law Review.
