One of the great privileges of serving this university is seeing the ambition and curiosity USC students bring to their education. They are not defined simply by what they are required to do, but by how much further they choose to go. Now, students can earn a new USC credential that reflects that deeper engagement and helps them stand out from their peers.
Through the Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences, any undergraduate at the university can enroll in an Intensive, an intentionally designed mini-credential of three courses focused on topics and skills that will give you the edge in the job market or your application to graduate school. Think of it as a new way to build practical knowledge and skills while earning a credential in addition to your major and/or minor that appears on your diploma and transcript.
As of this fall, three Intensive opportunities are available: AI for Molecular Biology; Survey Design and Data Analysis; and Writing and Responsible AI, with more to come in the future.
