Important Update: Union election deadline extended to June 1 at 5pm

Dear Colleagues,

The RTPC faculty union election deadline has been extended. All ballots must now arrive at the NLRB regional office by June 1, 2026, by 5pm.

Late last week, the NLRB notified the University and the United Auto Workers union that just under 15% of all voters did not receive their ballot due to incomplete addresses. As a result, the NLRB, the United Auto Workers, and the University have unanimously agreed to extend the voting deadline.

We greatly appreciate the partnership of the NLRB regional office and the United Auto Workers to ensure all eligible voters receive a ballot and are given the opportunity to vote in this important election.
