May 9, 2019

Please join us in congratulating our 2019 awardees of the Interdisciplinary Teaching Grant Program. This marks the inaugural year for the program which was introduced to fund teaching grants that support interdisciplinary curriculum development through team-teaching and other teaching models that utilize expertise across the disciplines, the arts, and the professions.

Each proposal was required to include faculty from more than one school or more than one division within Dornsife College. Priority was given to proposals that satisfy GE requirements or serve as requirements for more than one major. A $20,000 stipend is awarded for each selected proposal.

We were extremely pleased by the number of applications we received and the enthusiasm and creativity displayed in these proposals. Awardees were selected through a competitive application process, reviewed by a faculty committee, and their selection is a testament to the quality of their proposals. We look forward to seeing these innovative courses become available to our students and strongly encourage more faculty to consider applying next year.
