Interim Chief of Staff

Elyse Levine is the Interim Chief of Staff to the Provost at the University of Southern California. In her role, Elyse oversees the daily operations of the Provost’s Office and partners closely with the Provost’s leadership team to advance initiatives and support the strategic vision of the university. Prior to this, Elyse was the Deputy Chief of Staff in the Office of the President, where she led operations and strategic initiatives in support of the President and the Chair of the Board of Trustees. Before joining USC, Elyse worked at The Walt Disney Company and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), advising senior executives across strategy, operations and communications. Elyse holds her MBA in Operations and Strategy from New York University’s Stern School of Business and her undergraduate degrees in Advertising and English from the University of Florida.
