
Associate Provost
Amy Cheung is an Associate Provost at the University of Southern California. In her role, Amy oversees special projects on behalf of the provost and partners closely him to advance initiatives and support the strategic vision of the university. She previously served as the provost’s Chief of Staff and continues to serve in an advisor capacity to him and the office. Prior to working in the Provost’s Office, Amy served as the Chief of Staff to the dean at the USC Gould School of Law, where she led operations, strategic initiatives, and accreditation reporting to the American Bar Association (ABA). Before joining USC, Amy worked at the Maricopa County Community College District in Tempe, AZ where she managed federal compliance for ten community colleges in the Phoenix valley. Amy began her career at her alma mater, Arizona State University (ASU), coordinating and leading student success initiatives in University Academic Success Programs department. Amy holds her M.Ed. in Higher and Post-Secondary Education from ASU’s Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College, her B.A. in English from the ASU’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and is a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) with the Project Management Institute.
