The below teaching faculty have been recognized as a result of their demonstrated teaching excellence, pedagogical impact and innovation, and educational leadership. This new title is part of an Academic Senate and Provost initiative to appropriately highlight exceptional performance in our full-time teaching faculty. Distinction and continuing appointment are granted by the President of the University, through the Provost, after review and recommendation by the school’ s faculty and dean, and the University Committee on Appointments, Promotions and Tenure.
